Full Journal pdf2007-05-02 Senate Journal Page 1018 HB 171 Message dated May 1 was read, stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendment to CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 171(STA) am and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendment, namely: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 171(STA) "An Act relating to the date and time for convening regular legislative sessions, certain procedures of the legislature, the date for organizing the Legislative Budget and Audit Committee, and deadlines for certain matters or reports to be filed or delivered to the legislature or a legislative committee; prohibiting bonuses for legislative employees; and providing for an effective date." Senator Stevens moved that the Senate recede from its amendment and recommended the body vote no. The question being: "Shall the Senate recede from its amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 171(STA) Shall the Senate Recede from its Amendment to CSHB 171(STA) am? YEAS: 5 NAYS: 15 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Dyson, Therriault, Wagoner, Wielechowski, Wilken Nays: Bunde, Cowdery, Davis, Ellis, Elton, French, Green, Hoffman, Huggins, Kookesh, McGuire, Olson, Stedman, Stevens, Thomas and so, the Senate failed to recede. 2007-05-02 Senate Journal Page 1019 The President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the House: Senator McGuire, Chair Senator Stevens Senator Wilken The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
